BLU Estate

Post the pandemic the new culture of “Work from home” rethinks a 3BHK apartment at the
India Bulls Blu Estate, Worli as a combination of a commercial and residential space. Commencing from the look and feel of the house, the blend of white and wood with a pop of colour in spaces like kitchen, walk-in wardrobe and toilets were chosen specifically to
highlight the pocket spaces of the home. Since the plan is linear, it was important to tuck all the furniture away from plain sight and give it a clean look.
The dining room was converted to a workspace for a small team with desks hidden behind tall cabinets which resemble
storage. The second bedroom doubles up as the main office for the client with bespoke rattan sliding doors which provide the opportunity of creating a private cabin when needed and works a meeting room in case of group meetings. The powder room shifts from the colours seen and makes a bold statement with the use of a matte grey and green with brass fittings .The use of different textures and colours enhance the otherwise simple colours used in the space. At the end of the corridor, the master suite boasts of a glass walled bathroom and an open shelved walk-in wardrobe that can be used by the family..
